William and Carin have rented a luxurious'Voyager' houseboat on Lake Shasta providing every amenity
needed to make this a fun vacation.

This has been William's dream for a long time to invite family and friends for a funfilled boating week.  So waterskiing, wakeboarding, cajaking, fishing, camping, good food and drink are the main ingredients for this vacation.  To top this off we will be on the lake over the 4th of July. 

 I don't have to tell you much about Lake Shasta since most of you have been to this fabulous lake beneath Mount Shasta which has been called "one of the world's most beautiful mountains."  The lake boasts 370 miles of shoreline surrounding 30,000 acres of water surface.

Some of you have already mentioned that you would like the camping alternative so William and I took a trip up to Shasta, launched the boat and went up and down the coastline to look for camping areas.  Most are not suitable for small children and dogs, but at the end of the McCloud River at the McCloud Bridge there is a campground that would fit perfectly for all the things we want to do.  It is accessible by road, pretty flat, shaded and the best thing fishing from shore seems to be great for all you fishermen.

We would park the houseboat close to the campground for a week so we can all meet and have fun together.
