We have bred four litters of Russian Blues; the next is planned for early winter 1999-2000. We belong to the Central Finnish cat club, Kes-Kis which belongs to the Finnish central association of cat clubs (SRK), which
in turn is a member of the Fedration Internationale Feline (FIFe), the largest cat registering association in Europe. In our cattery name, FIN* means that we are a Finnish cattery, and a Rusalka is a Russian mermaid. As RUS
is the FIFe EMS code
for the Russian Blue breed, and a the colour code for blue, we felt the name would suit a Russian Blue cattery well.
