• Well-known British author born in West Hartlepoole on the North East coast of England, Sir Compton Mackenzie (1883-1972) was the president of the Siamese Cat Club to his death and showed an extraordinary devotion to Siamese cats.
   
• Kim Novak, American Fil Actress, starring in the role of the witch in the movie "Bell Book and Candle" (1959) with a siamese cat called "Pyewacket".
   
• Well-known former Prime Minister Harold Wilson of Great Britain and his writer wife owned a siamese cat by the name of Nemo, a seal point male, who always accompanied the couple on their vacation trip to Scilly Islands, off the coast of Cornwall.

• Cattery "Astra's Revenge" was established in 1989, with the purpose of breeding blue point Siamese. Although over the years I have experimented with various influences, such as the Oriental Shorthair, I have limited myself to blue points, and blue points only.
• Lifesaver's Home Page - Lifesaver died on November 28, 1995.
• Frosty's Homepage - Frosty was born around New Years, 1985, and came to live with us about 6 weeks later. He's a great mouser and ratter, even though now he spends  much of his time indoors conserving his energy (sleeping). When he was about 3 years old, he had the misfortune of being shot by some idiot with a BB gun. We thought he had been hit by a car, as he was in terrible pain, but when the vet x-rayed him, it was easy to see what had happened. The BB lodged between 2 vertebrae just ahead of his hipbone, and almost resulted in the loss of all lower body function. However,  thanks to a very skilled vet and Frosty's good healing,  he has only suffered a little loss of function in the end of his tail.
